FARRAH SEX TAPE STORY STILL BUBBLES –-News about the existence of a Farrah Abraham (MTV’s “Teen Mom”) sex tape continues as a result of a very public dialogue. Farrah admitted that she made an adult video with famous triple X co-star James Deen. Deen commented that the tape was all Farrah’s idea. Farrah responded that Deen was out of line and that the tape was private and for her own use. She added that he had a small penis. Farrah’s attorney sent a cease and desist letter to Vivid to make sure the tape was not released without her permission. Farrah appeared on the “Dr. Phil Show” and the tape was the focus of conversation. Farrah then decided she would sell the tape and said she wanted $2 million for the rights. Most recently, Farrah said she was considering offers from several companies, and last week she visited the Vivid offices with her father and daughter to meet with Steven.
‘TANNING MOM’ PITCH TO VIVID FALLS FLAT – Patricia Krentcil , the so-called “Tanning Mom,” made a pitch to Vivid to star in one of the studio’s upcoming films. E!Online reported the story, noting, “Tanning mom Patricia Krentcil is back, and this time she's ready to show a whole lotta bronzed skin.” Reporter Lily Harrison quoted from her note to Steven Hirsch: "I see you are trying to buy this sex tape from this Teen Mom, well if you REALLY want to make MONEY then I would agree to let you film me and all my hotness.’ The New Jersey native went on to say, "Because let's face it I am far MORE popular and WAY HOTTER than Farrah! Men want a cougar and a real woman not a teenybopper. Contact me back if you're ready to talk serious cash and rock the world “ Harrison wrapped up her story by reporting, “ But the Vivid Entertainment head wasn't too keen on the idea…Hirsch tells E! News: ‘Although there is much interest in Tanning Mom and her exploits I just don't think she fits in with the Vivid culture as we don't have any Granny Porn. I wish her the best and would be happy to have her interviewed on Vivid Radio.’"
SHORT AND SWEET INTERVIEW’S PHIL VARONE – Reporter Ralph Greco of Short and Sweet NYC interviewed Phil Varone last week. He captured the frenetic life of the musician-producer-actor-author perfectly when he wrote: “You could say Phil Varone is a Renaissance man, or as he calls himself ‘middle age crazy and loving every second of it’ when describing his amazing life. You’ve seen him on the reality show Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew, on the Showtime series Californication, probably on a Vivid swinger’s DVD, as one of the founding members and drummer for Saigon Kick (presently on a reunion tour) as an author (he just released his bio Un-Philtered: Real Life On and Off the Rock ‘n’ Roll Tour Bus) and in many incarnations doing what he seems to do best…working hard and having a great time doing so.” Varone walks the reader through his current Saigon Kick revival tour and the launch of his biography, published by Riverdale Avenue Books. Varone is asked his opinion on the current controversy over the Los Angeles County Measure B mandatory condom laws: “They haven’t affected me personally since I shoot with condoms because we are swingers. In the lifestyle we use condoms and when I shoot real swingers, we still use condoms. With that said, I think the condom law is pathetic. The sad part is, when there is a bunch of money funding a lie campaign to sway voters, it’s impossible to get facts and truth to the voters. This law can never be policed since California is broke and can barely take care of the important issues at hand. The constant stream of lies and made up statistics is offensive but happens when certain people have ulterior motives.” Asked about his future plans for more movies, Varone said: “I’m going to continue making them for as long as possible. I love working for Vivid and they have given me so much freedom to shoot what I want and edit the way I want, so as far as I’m concerned, I never want it to end. As long as there are swingers that want to shoot, I hope to be there to shoot them.”
