Vivid Studio Insider For April 19, 2013

THE FARRAH SEX TAPE SAGA – Farrah Abraham, who was a star of MTV’s Teen Mom series, seems to have a sex tape circulating within the adult industry, and Vivid has been mentioned as one studio that is trying to acquire it.  There have been many reports about the tape, in which her partner is adult star James Deen.  So far it’s known that Steven Hirsch of Vivid has seen 15 minutes of the tape and is quoted as saying that it is “amazing.”  TMZ and others have reported that Steven wants to acquire it.  In the meantime, Farrah has gotten into a snit with Deen, accusing him of having a small penis.  The latest news is that Farrah has moved out – or perhaps been kicked out – of her mother’s house in Nebraska, where she was living.

Stay tuned.

MAN OF STEEL XXX  PRODUCTION WRAPS -- Production of Man Of Steel XXX: An Axel Braun Parody wrapped recently in Los Angeles. Insiders who have been on the set unanimously agree that this might be Axel’s finest work to date. The parody movie debuts on at on May 28th and will be on sale in stores nationwide on June 11th.  Says Axel: “It was an epic undertaking, and I’m totally thrilled with the result. “I think I pushed my compulsive attention to detail to a whole new level with the costumes…it might not mean much by Hollywood standards, but each of our ‘Man Of Steel XXX’ suits costs more than the entire budget of most porn movies.” But the big news is that in Braun’s movie Superman (played by Ryan Driller), aside from his classic blue/red costume, also wears a black one. “Supes has donned a black outfit before in the comics,” says notoriously über-geeky director Braun, “most memorably in the ‘Death and Return of Superman’ storyline from 1992, which is one of my favorites.” Braun says his original screenplay for ‘Man of Steel XXX’ features a much larger cast of characters from the Superman universe. “No Zod, but definitely more boobs,” he says. The full cast includes Lex Luthor (fellow director Eli Cross, in an explosive non-sex performance), Batman (Giovanni Francesco, reprising the role he originated in Braun’s “The Dark Knight XXX”), Wonder Woman (Kimberly Kane), Lois Lane (Kirsten Price), Lana Lang (Samantha Ryan), Livewire (Sasha Knox), Silver Banshee (Skin Diamond), Angle Man (Alan Stafford), Dr. Fate (Eric Masterson), Zatanna (Kendall Karson) and Bizarro (Billy Glide).

DISCLAIMER: ‘Man Of Steel XXX: An Axel Braun Parody’ IS A PARODY MOVIE. This movie is not sponsored, endorsed by, or affiliated with any entity owning the rights to the characters parodied therein or the work being parodied.

PHIL VARONE HOSTS THE BUTTON SOUTH REUNION KICK-OFF – Vivid movie director and rocker Phil Varone hosts the kick-off party on Thursday, April 25th for the third annual The Button South Class Reunion at The Cheetah Hallandale. The club is the physical location of The Button South (100 Ansin Blvd., Hallandale, FLA 33009, 954-455-2131), which was the night club that defined rock‘n roll in South Florida during the 80s and 90s. Phil was drummer for two of the great bands of the era, Saigon Kick and Skid Row.  The kick-off party will also celebrate the publication of Varone’s tell-all memoir “Unphiltered:  Real Life On And Off The Rock ‘N Roll Tour Bus” from Riverdale Avenue Books and the release of his latest movie from Vivid Entertainment, “100% Real Swingers:  Big Bear.” Varone has been a swinger for over 20 years and the Big Bear film marks the latest in his swingers movie series.  The party is sponsored by Vivid and California Exotics and admission is complimentary, with gift bags and give-aways.

Whoopie. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster or at the box office for $12 per night or $20 for the entire weekend.  Guests won’t hear a single song recorded after 1996, but will hear why, after 20 years, people travel from all over the country to reunite to the rhythm of The Button South.

Phil was also interviewed this week by Drunken Stepfather. Asked what industry has more morals, the music industry or the porn industry, Phil responded: “The adult industry for sure. The music industry was loaded with thieves and liars. Being young and new years ago, I was ripped off for my whole career.”
