COMICS ON LINE DIGS SvS – Popular website Comics on Line reviews Superman vs. Spider-Man XXX and finds it “surprisingly good,” awarding it a top rank of 5 stars. Reviewer and Editor Karl Madsen says “Much like the Reese’s Cup, Vivid Entertainment has put two of my favorite viewing pleasures together; superheroes and porn. Not only that but they have put together an event that true believers pray for; the multi company crossover…combining some of the most beloved heroes, villains, and friends in two comic book worlds.”  After a quick summary of the movie, Madsen adds, “There are surprises here besides having a plot. The costumes are surprisingly accurate (disregard Superman’s logo) and the actors that portray the characters fill their comic book counterparts shoes very well. In my opinion Ryan Driller is a good Superman, and Eric Masterson is a particularly entertaining Lex Luthor. With that said this is porn and with that comes graphic sex scenes. In this case they are appropriate. Superman vs. Spider-Man XXX is porn, no doubt about it, but fun porn. Maybe it’s the comic book aspect, but I found I wasn’t fast forwarding between sex scenes. I hope there’s a sequel so I can find out what happens.” The movie is also available now on

VIVID HIGHLIGHTED IN FSC CAMPAIGN TO STOP MEASURE B – The Free Speech Coalition announced this week that a group of adult industry leaders, including those from Vivid Entertainment, intend to file a law suit soon against Los Angeles County over Measure B. In a press release FSC said: “On November 6th voters of Los Angeles passed Measure B, an ill-conceived law that makes it mandatory for adult actors to wear lab coats, goggles and gloves as well as condoms while shooting adult films in the County. The law was funded solely by AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF).” The release included this quote from Steven Hirsch, founder/co-Chairman of Vivid Entertainment: “The industry has organized a team of highly respected attorneys to protect our First Amendment rights. I am confident that we will prevail and ultimately save LA County millions of dollars as well as save thousands of jobs. As an industry we are united in this effort and look forward to our day in court."  FSC announced that adult industry attorneys Paul Cambria of Lipsitz Green Scime Cambria, Louis Sirkin of Santen Hughes, and Bob Corn-Revere of Davis Wright Tremaine will represent the industry in the US District Court for the Central District of California. The attorneys plan to challenge the law on the question of whether the County has jurisdiction to regulate adult production on performer health and safety, as these issues would typically fall under CalOSHA and thus State regulation.  Additionally, attorneys plan to challenge the law on Constitutional grounds.

The Measure B issue was covered extensively by Associated Press TV, which produced a video package that includes comments from Steven and Axel Braun that has been posted on YouTube.

XCRITIC HIGHLY RECOMMENDS THE RUSSO TWINS – gives The Russo Twins: From Russia to Hollywood a “highly recommended” nod. Apache Warrior calls the film “one of Taylor and Tati Russo's best movies ever.”  He adds: “This production provides an entertaining insight on the Russo twins' path to porn stardom. By having Taylor and Tati speak to the camera about their life, the director gives us a personal tone to this movie. It's not just a sex flick, but also a personal diary. Moreover, their four-way lesbian tryst is an awesome performance and one that I would like to see nominated for Best All-Girl Group Scene. If you have not seen the Russo twins in action, I highly recommend that you pick it up.”
