VIVID-ALT HOSTS "EASTSIDE STORY" RELEASE PARTY -- The hot ticket in L.A. on Thursday night was for the Vivid-Alt release party for the " Eastside Story " DVD at BAR 107 . Partygoers mingled with Vivid-Alt stars, including Dana DeArmond (star of recent top releases such as " Girls Lie " and " Dana DeArmond Does the Internet "), Roxy DeVille and Page Morgan . The visionary behind "Eastside Story," director Vena Virago , mingled with guests as did Vivid-Alt head Eon McKai , who called the film "the ultimate mash-up of underground art and documentary porn."

In other Vivid-Alt news, the imprint has introduced a new packaging style . " Eastside Story" and he upcoming Winkytiki feature " Man's Ruin " will come in a three-panel gatefold sleeve that holds a two-disc set and an added pouch with a CD soundtrack ("Eastside Story") or a temporary tattoo ("Man's Ruin" ). "It really just seems like things have to be as big as possible in this business," Eon told AVN Online.

SAVANNA MAKES A FLASHY SPLASH ON MADISON AVENUE - Vivid Girl Savanna Samson lives in a midtown Manhattan apartment six floors above Madison Avenue. On St. Patrick's Day morning some of the marchers got quite a surprise as they marched over to nearby Fifth Avenue for the annual parade. "I woke up early to the sound of the soldiers marching up Madison Avenue chanting a cadence," says Savanna. "It was very exciting. I felt compelled to open my bedroom window and yell, 'Hey Boys!' I waved at the guys when they looked up, then flashed my breasts. Needless to say I messed up their rhythm. But it felt like old times, when I used to flash the workers in a Times Square building that was being built across the street from where I lived at the time."
