STEFANI MORGAN’S “THE VISITOR” SET FOR RELEASE -- There’s a dramatic back-story to the release next Wednesday of “The Visitor” Vivid Girl Stefani Morgan’s newest film. As reported on AVN.com, eight days before her shoot for the feature, “the blonde starlet slipped on her marble floor, breaking a rib….she decided to push forward with the mid-June shoot in Los Angeles. Vivid is more than happy that Morgan pushed through the pain.” Vivid sales manager Howard Levine called “The Visitor” a “super hot title that turned out great.” Morgan plays a daydreaming beauty who always finds her aroused mind wandering... “mostly in the direction of great sex in different, exotic locations - everywhere from a pool in the California sun to a Hollywood nightclub.” “The Visitor” was directed by J Bleazy and will be distributed by Pulse. Stefani is also featured on the cover of the September issue of Strip Las Vegas magazine. She will be on hand for the kickoff party for the issue at 10:30 pm on Monday August 21st at the Jet & Strip Nightclub at the Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
RED HERRING CITES VIVID’S HD STRATEGY -- Red Herring, the authoritative high tech business information resource, notes that adult companies for the most part are “shying away from HD” except Vivid. The magazine notes that most adult studios are confused over the format war between Sony’s Blu-ray standard and Toshiba’s HD-DVD technology. “Not everyone is complaining,” reports Red Herring. “Deep pocketed production companies like Vivid Entertainment, the industry’s largest producer, have been shooting with high-definition titles in both formats until a clear standard emerges.” Steven Hirsch, who was interviewed for the studio by the Red Herring reporter, commented: “It took about five years for the market to shift form VHS to DVD. The high definition DVDs will probably take much longer.”
