THE TIGER BEAT GOES ON WITH HOLLY SAMPSON & VIVID - Vivid has been a key factor in the ongoing media coverage of the Tiger Woods infidelity scandal. Holly Sampson, the one-time Tiger lover who appears in the upcoming Vivid movies Savanna Samson is The Masseuse and Screwed Over, continues to fascinate the gossip shows and columns. Last week she and Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch, appeared on a TMZ-TV sidewalk interview, and on Tuesday they were interviewed for Extra TV. Steven told the TMZ audience: "We have shown Holly a script we're working on that would sort of detail her time with Tiger. It would be more like a docudrama that documented the events that happened exactly as they happened." In her interview, Holly emphasized that her sexual escapade with Woods, which happened before he was married, was memorable. After performing in a private girl-on-girl sex show, Holly said a representative of Woods asked to see her separately: "They were soon in bed together. 'I started to undress and get into the bed and pulled back the covers and he sort of jumped in bed,' she says. 'We cuddled and kissed. [It was] a very sensual experience…He has talent on the field and he has talent in the bedroom."

NIKKI JAYNE'S SEXQUAKE ON ITS WAY - SEXQUAKE, the newest movie starring Vivid Girl Nikki Jayne, began shipping to stores last week. The British bombshell plays a newcomer to L.A. who can't get used to the threat of earthquakes. The prospect of a tremor makes her so nervous, in fact, that the only way she can relieve her tension is to have sex - lots of it. Iin Sexquake Jayne performs in three scenes, including an anal encounter with hard-charging stud Erik Everhard. Also appearing in the movie are Missy Stone, Faye Reagan, Magdalene St. Michaels, Dane Cross, Jerry, Billy Glide and Danny Mountain.

STEVEN HIRSCH ON SAME PAGE AS HIS HEROES - As a proud native of Cleveland, Vivid's Steven Hirsch naturally admires LeBron James and Jim Brown. And now he finds himself mentioned in the same newspaper column as these two sports legends. Cleveland Plain Dealer features writer Michael Heaton made the connection in a column Friday headlined, "Getting to know the Real Cleveland: Yeah, we got history, but we've also evolved." After acknowledging James and Brown as Cleveland icons, Heaton notes: "And because we are so fiercely loyal to the people and things we love, we hang on to them with a tight grip and hold them to our collective heart. I was going to say 'bosom,' but we don't say 'bosom' in Cleveland. Sounds dirty. Even though our very own Reuben Sturman invented pornography. And 20 years after he died, Steve Hirsch from Lyndhurst now runs Vivid Entertainment, the world's largest producer of pornographic movies."

THROAT IS AEBN BEST FEATURE FILM NOMINEE - AEBN, the leading video-on-demand marketer, says it has nominated Vivid's big-budget film Throat for Best Feature Film of 2009 in its AEBN VOD Awards competition. Sasha Gray, star of Throat, was nominated for Best Actress. Since 2006, AEBN has recognized the most popular films and stars of the year, as chosen by the viewing habits of the millions of fans who visit the company's global network of theaters, through the VOD Awards. Nominations are based on minute sales in the theaters in one calendar year, decided upon with a precise, in-house accounting system. AEBN says the winners are expected to be announced on December 31st.

SHAUNA MAKES THE STAR - The National Star devoted half a page to Shauna Sand recently in a story about Vivid's release of her personal sex tape. The tabloid featured a sexy photo of Shauna, with a tongue in cheek headline on the caption that asked: "Has she no shame?" The caption then went on to say, "At first, Shauna attempted to block distribution of footage revealing her raunchy escapades with an unidentified male friend earlier this year. But now the former Playmate has not only given adult film company Vivid Entertainment the go-ahead but even agreed to actively promote the tape. 'I feel it will be in my best interest to work with Vivid to make sure it is handled properly,' says Shauna, 38. 'I'm proud of the way I look in the video!'"
